Plate 31. The Creation of Eve.
In the first book of the Genesis of the Bible, there is a description of the creation of the world in six days, according to which on the sixth day, God created Adam of earth (1:27) and created Eve from Adam's rib (11:21). The painter paid special attention to the Tree of Knowledge. Adam is lying down under the towering Tree of Knowledge, while Eve is coming out of his right rib with arms stretched towards the Creator. The miniature is unfinished.
